Foothills Healthy Babies Provides an intensive home visiting program that supports and educates new moms and moms-to-be in families that are stressed or overcoming challenges. Learn more
Child Safety Puppeteers Teaches young children at preschools and elementary schools through the use of age-appropriate puppet shows how to stand up for themselves and to recognize and stop physical and sexual harrassment. High school age and adult volunteers help the program bring the message of personal safety to children. Learn more

Your grocery shopping and Ebay sales or donated items can benefit Child Advocates!
By shopping at SPD, SaveMart or Raleys, you can benefit Nevada County's children. Each of these stores will donate a percentage of your total sale to Child Advocates when you present your rewards card at check out. It's a no hassle way to benefit our most vulnerable children. To get a card at SPD, simply ask the clerk for a card and select "Child Advocates of Nevada County" from their list or write it in. For a card to Raleys or SaveMart, email to admin@caofnc.orgor call (530) 265-9550, Ext. 21, and we will mail you a card. Get one card or get them all! The more grocery shopping you do, the more you benefit Child Advocates. (Card must be presented prior to payment for groceries.) Ebay sales or resalable items donated to us can also benefit our programs. Sellers receive a receipt for their donations and a credit on their fees equal to the donated portion of their sales. Items donated to us to resell are tax deductible and you are given a receipt.
